Fundraisers are a great part of our success and the source of how we fund events and initiatives throughout the school year. We are not given a budget by the school district and operate strictly as a non-profit organization. This means every dollar raised goes directly back into the school!
Why do we fundraise
The PTA is a non-profit organization run by parents and teachers - for our students! We are solely based on volunteers and donations from ourselves, the community and you! Whether it is a donation of time, supplies or monetary, you help us with the ability to fund events, field trips, experiences and more for students! Donations and volunteer time also help us take care of the teachers and staff during appreciation week, the holidays and more!

What are our main fundraising events throughout the year?
Our fundraisers vary based on the school calendar, season, and weather. Funds help cover PTA operating costs, support school events like DJs and concessions, and provide classroom grants.
Past funding has helped provide 4th and 5th grade agenda books, sno-balls for all students during Field Day, transportation costs for field trips, and more.
What are some other fundraising opportunities?
The PTA also hosts Spirit Nights with local restaurants such as Chick-fil-A, Ledo Pizza, Bubba’s 33, and others. We consider these “passive fundraisers” because they’re an easy way for families to support the PTA while helping us raise additional funds.
We’re always looking for new ideas and community partnerships, and we’d love to hear from you!
Why do you ask for donations if you already fundraise?
Our Treasurer develops and manages a zero-based budget, with checks and balances in place to ensure PTA funds are used responsibly.
While fundraising covers many of our programs and events, it isn’t always enough to fund everything we’d like to provide for our students and school community. As a nonprofit organization, additional donations help us fill those gaps and continue supporting programs throughout the year.
How else can we stretch our fundraising dollars?
We’re working to build partnerships with local businesses that can donate food, snacks, supplies, services, or other resources for school events. These contributions help us make fundraising dollars go even further.
